Part 4: The Confrontation with the BBC and Conwy County Borough Council

A regular visitor to Lindsay’s parents’ house in the late 50’s/early 60’s, was the daughter of the founder of the BBC Lord Reith, Marista nee Reith, who was the wife of a Church of Scotland Minister. She like her father was a passionate Presbyterian of the old school, her father having the determination to see that the BBC was solidly founded on Biblical and high moral principles. This appears to this day in the entrance hall of Broadcasting House in London, as clear proof of his ambition, our ministry being firmly founded on taking on the “woke” infiltrations of the present day. We witness from this presentation an attempt of the BBC to destroy our ministry, the truth of which we now reveal publicly for the first time.
 

Indeed, we believe we have proof that the present day informer to public authorities about our ministry has a strong link to the present day BBC, a rebellion to a profoundly Biblical organization that was once founded on the Rock, Jesus Christ, and it is this Rock the informer is taking on, a tiny television channel, (ECCTV) but a tiny channel standing as David, as the Biblical David stood before Goliath.

This shrine of the arts, music and literature is dedicated by the first governors in the year of our Lord 1931, John Reith being Director General. It is their prayer that good seed sown will produce a good harvest, that everything offensive to decency and hostile to peace will be expelled, and that the nation will incline its ear to those things which are lovely, pure and of good report and thus pursue the path of wisdom and virtue.

 

It is however a Biblical principle that the ex-anointed would pursue the newly anointed so as to destroy. This was the case with Saul and David and indeed has become the case with the BBC and ECCTV, Every Creature Commission TV which we had set up in the Lord’s name, as indeed the original BBC was set up in the same principle.

As with David, so with us for the Lord was and is with us as he was with David. This Part 4 of this story tells how the same result came about with the help of a Good Samaritan.

Sheila Standish, one of our fellow ministers was part of a divided family, on one side strongly conservative Christian whilst on the other side in my view of the extreme left wing woke persuasion.

On the Christian side comes the Harthern family, Sheila’s Uncle Charlie as she referred to him being one of the founders of the Assemblies of God in UK. He had a son called Roy who with his wife Pauline befriended our ministry, we being very supportive of each other, but on the other side of Sheila’s family came the Speights who had long be connected with the BBC, particularly in relation to a television programme called Till Death Do Us Part that featured a character called Alf Garnett who Johnnie Speight projected as being a right wing bigot, his son in law being presented as being far more rational with his extreme left wing views. This divide in our view came very much to the fore in the way Sheila’s brother David Speight took us on, he in our view being the likely suspect in relation to a criminal investigation that was to follow, and questions being asked by the BBC Radio Four You and Yours programme that was produced by BBC Salford.

The pressure on us as unwaged trustees and ministers was massive with a great Goliath to face!
 

Sheila was first and foremost a fellow minister, not someone under anyone but certainly under the one who was her Master and Lord: Jesus Christ. She looked to be constantly led by the Spirit rather than human rationality. Therefore, every Act of Parliament in Britain is introduced by the statement “Lord Spiritual and Temporal.” This relates to our Christian Constitutional Acts that are rarely talked of these days.

 

At her funeral I looked to intimate this with all of my heart whilst being firm that the legal actions taken against us by a small part of Sheila’s family were wrong, our heart has not been to retaliate with law but to bring understanding, peace and reconciliation, as David looked to do with Saul.

 

The human form is made up of three parts, the body, the soul (mind) and the Spirit. As a ministry we have chosen the latter which is identical to the choice of Queen Elizabeth I in relation to the base of all our laws to this day.

 

Dylan Moore of David Jones Solicitors Llandudno set up power of attorney to me both in health and well-being and in finances as Sheila in sound mind requested him to do. I operated as Sheila entirely wanted me to do, and I upheld her choice. I am very confident Dylan Moore would verify Sheila’s sound mind at the time of this setting up as her witness the late Margaret Dransfield consistently did on a series of videos called “Sheila’s Choice”

Dear David,

It is sad that our dear friend Shelia Standish has left us to be with the Lord. Her absence from us is her presence with God. One day we will all be together when we commence our eternal life as promised by our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

I remember how Sheila came with you to Sri Lanka when my country was in war. She, along with the rest of you, crossed a heavy land-mine-field without any fear of your lives. Shelia was never afraid of dying as she was full of hope of her eternal life. Praise God.

 

I also remember how she walked into my land, which was at that time a place full of tall grass which could cause harm to the skin. I saw her heart for Sri Lanka as she delivered many prophetic messages preceded by speaking in tongues. What a great tool was she in God’s Hands!

 

As you are aware, I have had the opportunity to visit her residence several times. She was a good friend with my wife Mercy with who she even has done a lot of shopping to send back gifts to her friends in Sri Lanka. She was in fond of my daughter Mishaeli too. Sheila has spoken to me personally about her heart for Sri Lanka.

 

Of late, when I visited her at the hospital, I was shocked that she recognized Mercy, Misha and I. Although not like earlier times, she expressed her joy of seeing us. My wife and I spoke about how Shelia was healthy, in absolute perfect of mind and how expressive she was about LCMI and Mount Carmel Ministries. As you know, I am a professionally qualified clinical psychologist and so I am fully aware that everything she said about wanting her wealth to be given over to LCMI and how the work of God should progress were said in complete sanity and with a clear mind. There is no question about that at all.

 

I know that there would not be someone to fill the gap of Shelia Standish. We will miss her till we meet her in glory.

 

I hope and pray for the best for you and LCMI to bring to pass the longings and cravings of our dear friend and fellow-servant Sheila.

Before this Gamlin’s Solicitor Bob Petters set up Sheila’s will, clearly being of the opinion too of sound mind as indeed as was Sheila’s best friend Margaret who acted as witness. Margaret testified on these videos the clear split in Sheila’s family between on one side the Speight’s and the other the Harthern’s, one being of a left wing socialist bias whilst the other being of full surrender to God, traditional evangelical Christianity. It is my view that at that time there was a left wing bias running through Conwy County Borough Council and the BBC, the Speight’s and these two organizations. In my view a perspective of cultural Marxism ganged up on us making us go through a major criminal inquiry, Richard Burbridge of CID St Asaph finding I had done nothing wrong but warning me that though I walk in high places (spiritual perspective) there are those in high places after me, these high places being in my view the cultural Marxism that was ruling the nation at that time. His statement was entirely in line with the threats we received by text in 2010.

 

Civil action was taken against me by the Speight family who employed a Barrister, we believe of Islamic background to threaten us that if we said anything in court and not pay £9,000 (which I did not have) then we would be destroyed.

 

(Now please understand we are not Islamaphobic or any other kind of phobic, we simply believe that on matters of faith decision, then those of the same faith should judge the matter and the joining together of the Council, the BBC and the Speight’s against us with an Islamic barrister we believe was unconstitutional.

 

We believe in honesty, openness and transparency which was in my view rejected by the Council at this time – in their quest to support the Speight family against the choice of Sheila, who passionately gave her life to the Lord Jesus with the perspective of her Uncle Charles Harthern, one of the founders of the Assemblies of God in Great Britain, Sheila coming from the same Mission Hall background as myself both of us having been brought up this way in Liverpool.)

 

The threats against us in 2010, followed by the actions of the Speight’s became a great burden on us all, but we as a ministry stuck together as our resources became lower and lower paying out fee after fee. Within this context Sheila lent money to me and on one occasion I as an individual lent money to her. We were in covenant having a deep spiritual bond. Sheila and her best friend Margaret were fellow trustees and ministers standing with each other through difficulties. Within this context she made her will out to the Charity and its aims and ambitions.

 

Lindsay and I take no salary, have gained nothing material from our charitable operations and were with Sheila about twenty years, bringing the Gospel on more than one occasion into the Sri Lankan warzone crossing a minefield, and even entering a hospital to bring relief to the sick of the Tamil Tigers. Sheila was brave, of 100% sound mind and determined as she went out with the Gospel which she gave her life for. It was for this she needs to be respected and not at all seen as mentally unfit, none of us saw her this way, but rather a very powerful fellow minister.

 

It was for this, the great spiritual context and the emphasis in British law on the spirit above the temporal that there was no conflict of interest in relation to Sheila and us and her finances. None whatsoever! It would seem however that Conwy County Council, the BBC and part of Sheila’s family got together looking to expose us on national BBC Radio and put us through a major criminal inquiry. The base of our dealings were on spiritual covenant rather than natural “conflict of interest” and in British Law it is clear that the spiritual takes precedence.

 

The stress was enormous on us but we stuck it out. At the time Lindsay and I were Town Councillors on Bay of Colwyn Town Council and we were open about this with fellow councillors of all political backgrounds and to the Clerk Tina Earley and her staff. I believe Tina to this day would bear witness of our work with the Council at that time working across the political divide.

 

I repeat - Sheila had chosen me to be Attorney over her financial and health affairs, the financial side being taken off me by a court in Caernarfon where we were threatened in an office out of court that if we said anything we would be destroyed, that is unless we could pay for the court hearing etc. I was made to pay £9,000 which I lent from a friend, I having no resources at all to cover this. I paid him back.

 

Her best friend Margaret informed me that Sheila used to hide herself away from certain members of her family, it being clear to us all that there was a battle of ideology going on here, but Sheila should have been allowed her choice surely?

 

The criminal inquiry allowed me to give the context of events, I inviting Richard Burbridge of North Wales CID into the Ministry Property then in Rhos On Sea to see whatever he wanted. I gave a 2 hour recorded interview at St Asaph Police Station and he was amazed, for he understood the spiritual context which has to take priority here. It would be good to get a copy of this as it gives the heart of Sheila and the way she was. The CID officer was clearly amazed, Sheila was a courageous passionate woman who gave everything to her Lord, and it was through the ministry that she was a fellow minister and trustee that she wanted her resources to go.

 

Dylan Moore of David Jones Solicitors who had set up the attorneyship was not contacted at all in relation to Sheila’s Choice nor was the witness Margaret Dransfield.

 

If all parties had come together we could have kept this in line with the Christian ethos of the Harthern side of Sheila’s family, part founders of the Assemblies of God in Great Britain and we would have opened up completely as we did with the criminal inquiry. This would have been in line with Sheila’s ethos outlined in I Corinthians 6, part 1 relating to Christian issues coming before those of secular preference rather than spiritual, Sheila’s life being summed up in the last verse where she saw herself as not her own, giving as our Lord gave – his all – hence the attorneyship and her will.

 

On a personal note, we as a family became exhausted by all this and were led to move our H/Q to Scotland where we could set up with more space and reduce our costs, our resources being dramatically affected by the legal actions which since 2010 had come against us.

 

Our heart is to forgive our persecutors as Christ did on the cross, to bring understanding rather than in counteracting legal actions but Sheila having been denied her choice in life was in the end allowed her choice in death, these resources being used to continue the ministry with no personal gain for ourselves.

 

We believe that the mental impact on us through all of this needs to be considered. There are so many who will bear witness to our heart, we having worked in North Wales with councillors, AM’s and our MP David Jones, we being able to produce a long list of those who know and our credibility in the use of funds and not controlling people, it being our job to bring the conditions for individuals to hear from God themselves rather than though human rationale and greed.
 

To conclude, Sheila gave prophecy after prophecy in meetings expressing her heart with a great passion, shouting out commonly her heart. It is my view that parts of her family simply do not know her as she was, do not know her as the amazing Minister of the Gospel that she was, her taking an equal role in the ministry. Living waters will flow out of the people – they will be cleansed through My Word. They can only be made clean through My Word.

“I am pointing My sceptre at you, My children – hold nothing back – I will increase you, give you the keys to My kingdom. All those people in Africa etc. that you are praying for – I will provide for them. Cast all on Me; look how mighty I am; I brought the people out of Egypt… they must come to Me, listen to My Word, which I have ordained for all time, to be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path.

“Finance is coming in through supernatural angels – there will be nothing lacking for the work I have ordained: sons of God, PHCC, the work in government. All will come in – do not turn anyone away. You are precious in My sight – I will send people to you that you have never thought of. Do not worry about anything – My plans will perfected in each one of you.

​

“I am using My vessels to speak to you today. All is well; all is well, do not be afraid. I will calm the troubled waters and turn circumstances around for My glory. People who have been hurt (by others) will be healed.

 

“Heed My Word – come to Me and I will fill each one of you with living waters – I will open doors for you – I will do it for you – it is all in My plan – I am working My plans out. All will be saved.

“For I am in your midst – for where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.

“I have a plan from the foundation of the world – revival will come to this land – but the people will suffer first. They will repent of their sins.*

“I have My faithful few, those I can rely on - & I will supply their needs – they only have to ask – when I want them to do something I will supply their need because I have asked them to do it. They have to stay right with Me.

“According to My will, it will be done. I have many things to be done – like this morning – I will anoint them. They will receive an anointing from God.

“There are many changes to come – do not be afraid of change. I will guide you & speak to you as a still, small voice, individually & together.

“I am building a people of power. I am coming back for a holy, righteous people. My people have suffered, as I did on the cross. You have My strength, you have My faith. You will mount up with wings as eagles.

“Great things will happen on the website. People will contact you that you never expected to … the highway of holiness.

“I will guide your footsteps in the way I desire, saith the Lord.”

*God will send His people to talk to the Queen & parliament. God spoke the words, & the world came into being. As His people speak the words, they will be from Him.

NB The light which we keep getting (see also current ‘Sons of Zadok’ newsletter) is the true gospel. The light = the first thing of creation. Scriptures: Genesis 1; John 1:9 etc.

“God is going to use each one of us; the plans He has for each one of us will be perfected in us.

[TONGUE + INTERPRETATION]

Interpretation:

“The devil has been defeated. I am an awesome Holy Ghost, & when I say I will do a thing, I do it because I want to do it.

​

“I want people saved by My mercy…you will come out triumphant more & more.

​

“The devil has tried to defeat you, but he is a defeated foe.

​

“I have got each one of you in My hand. I love you. I have seen what you are going through.

​

“I speak the truth & God will use His word in each one of you. You will become bolder & bolder. The sick will be healed.

​

“Gifts – you have all got them.

​

“I will take each one of you to be more & more like Me. You will be crucified like Me.

​

“Got up early in the morning, wept, prayed, said to people how much you loved them.

“All is well – you will be persecuted because you want to be more & more like Me.

As regards to the BBC and their accusations, we sent this letter laying down the facts rather than the unsubstantiated accusations they had received, from a coordinated group in our view constantly out to destroy us, a group connected with this extreme side of cultural Marxism that has no time for our nation as it once was, as the BBC once was, a God fearing nation that protects its people from conception to the grave, a nation united rather than one run by extreme wokists that seem to have taken over every area of our lives, but extreme wokists we are prepared to stand up to with the same heart and compassion David gave to Saul.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

 

Rev Griffiths does not acknowledge any wrongdoing as seems to be claimed by Mr Speight or at all.

 

The Court of Protection’s investigation into the matter (which seems to have been instigated by Mr Speight) is ongoing and has not yet been finalised.

 

In the circumstances, your intended programme is premature. 

 

Please note that if any defamatory allegations are made against Rev Griffiths or, indeed, against the Life Changing Ministries Church Charity, defamation proceedings will be issued.

 

In short, there is no merit whatsoever in Mr Speight’s allegations. 

 

With a view to being entirely open, Rev Griffiths has replied to your queries as follows:

 

1.   There is considerable background information which Rev Griffiths has already provided to the OPG and which you should have sight of before pursuing this matter.

 

2.   At no time has Rev Griffiths (or the Charity) “persuaded” Mrs Standish to part with any monies. 

 

3.   At no time has Rev Griffiths “posed” as Mrs Standish’s next of kin. 

 

Since June of last year, Rev Griffiths has been appointed Mrs Standish’s attorney in relation to both Property and Financial Affairs and Health and Welfare.  As such, he has the same (or more) legal rights than a mere “next of kin”.

 

4.   You do not appear to understand the process of being appointed an attorney. 

 

There is no requirement on a Donor or an Attorney to contact family in such circumstances and family’s “consent” is certainly not required. 

 

Rev Griffiths did not “apply” for a Power of Attorney – Mrs Standish appointed him. 

 

You appear to confuse powers of attorney with an application to be appointed a Deputy.

 

5.   Both yourselves and Mr Speight appear to overlook that Mrs Standish was represented by Solicitors who obtained her instructions and were satisfied themselves that she had the requisite capacity to make the Powers of Attorney, arranged their registration and acted as Mrs Standish’s Certificate Provider. 

 

Do you know the procedures involved in making a Lasting Power of Attorney?  If not, we suggest you acquaint yourselves before causing yourselves embarrassment.

 

6.   Rev Griffiths has had no communication at all from the OPG advising that he is to be removed as Power of Attorney. 

 

Neither has he received any notification from Conwy Social Services that they are being put in place as interim guardians or have been appointed as such.

 

7.   Both Rev Griffiths and the Church have, for some time, been the victims of a hate campaign. 

 

They were told some time ago (anonymously) they would be “destroyed” through official channels. 

 

There have been repeated allegations made to numerous organisations over the past few years, all of which have been resolved in Rev Griffiths’ and the Charity’s favour.

 

8.   The most recent of these was a lengthy and detailed investigation by the Charity Commission.  That investigation concluded last year.  The Charity Commission investigated issues regarding Mrs Standish and all aspects of that investigation have been satisfactorily resolved. 

 

Have you spoken to the Charity Commission?

 

9.   Rev Griffiths is aware that Mrs Standish made a Will in August 2011 (again through Solicitors). 

 

At that time Mrs Standish was living on her own in her flat at 21A Kensington Avenue, Old Colwyn. 

 

The Solicitors at that time and who prepared the Will were clearly satisfied that Mrs Standish was of sound mind and had the required capacity to make the Will. 

 

Rev Griffiths knows the details of the sole residuary beneficiary of that Will. 

 

It is not Mr Speight nor any of Mrs Standish’s family.  That is rather relevant here do you not agree?   

 

10.        The financial issues raised by Mr Speight have already been dealt with at length by the Charity Commission and Rev Griffiths does not propose to deal with them again. 

 

In particular, he does not feel it is appropriate for Mrs Standish’s affairs to be discussed publicly in this way.

 

We would make the following further observations:

 

1.   It is an attorney’s duty and legal obligation to consider the Donor’s wishes.  It is Mrs Standish’s wishes that must be respected here and no-one else’s.

 

2.   Mrs Standish’s family had known for over 4 years about Mrs Standish’s deteriorating health.  Yet nothing was done by them to assist. 

 

Her family knew she was living with and being cared for at the Charity’s premises.  The family even sent Christmas and Birthday cards thanking “the kind people that are looking after you”.

 

3.   For some time between 2010 and 2011 Mrs Standish was cared for by Mrs Margaret Dransfield in Mrs Dransfield’s own home.  Mrs Dransfield was offered no practical or financial help from Mrs Standish’s family although they were aware of the situation.

 

4.   Whilst living in her own flat in Kensington Avenue, Mrs Standish told Mrs Dransfield that members of her family (including her sister Barbara) had been to visit her. 

 

However, Mrs Standish said she had hidden away from them so they did not gain entry.  She clearly did not wish to see them at all. 

 

None of Mrs Standish’s family were interested in attending the Case Conference leading up to her discharge from Llandudno Hospital in January/February this year.  The family were formally invited to the review but no-one attended.

 

5.   Throughout her time in the care of Rev Griffiths, his wife and the Charity, Mrs Standish was encouraged to stay in touch with her family.  The same action was taken by her home carers and Mrs Standish’s Social Worker.  Notelets were bought for her to use but she clearly found the task very stressful and did not write to them.  Her wishes were respected.

 

6.   It is relevant that you be aware that there was a major split in Mrs Standish’s family between those on Mrs Standish’s mother’s side (who were strong Christian believers) and the Speight’s (on her father’s side). 

 

It seems family members have a history of false accusations against Christian Ministries. 

 

We again emphasise that you take considerable caution before making what are likely to be defamatory comments and in those circumstances, action will be taken.  

What the letter shows is that there had been a history of unsubstantiated allegations against this ministry, a history which tells us that over the last years the innocent are being refused justice, and those with an anti-Christian stance are having free run in the British Justice system that has failed to uphold the nation’s written constitution preferring to bow down to those supporting a left wing global agenda that in effect is cancelling Christianity and all those who support its values.
 

We have lived and are living in an era of one antichrist manifesting through various guises over time, guises that actually destroy themselves over time, but whilst in operation bring about an over legalised society based on informers reporting to government offices, so as to bring a society of a particular man-made ideology, chasing those who refuse adherence to its unjust laws keeping to the spirit of Judeo-Christian landmarks laid down in law, increasing “virtue”, the constitutional demand, rather than being brought down by narrow technicalities that are wholly contrary to the soul and heart of our nation. It is the letter of the law that killeth and it is those who uphold this that eventually kill themselves.

In conclusion, there is another factor and that is the spiritual conflict between those who associate themselves with a television programme of the 1960’s Till Death Us Do Part produced by the BBC, and those who are of the heritage of Mary Whitehouse and her “Clean Up TV” campaign. This became the National Viewers and Listeners Campaign, a campaign that had its activities largely ignored by the BBC despite its great following, Mary Whitehouse herself not being allowed the democratic platform she deserved on mainstream TV, indeed it can be argued that she was the first to be officially cancelled, the first now amongst many.

Mary Whitehouse working alongside Charles Oxley, my former headmaster and Geoffrey Dicken MP after infiltrating PIE in 1983 – Paedophile Information Exchange discovered some politicians who were involved in high level immorality affecting children. Their case was well proven yet suppressed by government, and it is this that is at the heart of our presentation today, that there has been an active campaign to suppress those of the old values, to bring them under unjust justice, to target them, cancel them and suppress them looking for them to surrender to give up.
